CHED Chairman Dr. J. Prospero 鈥淧opoy鈥 E. De Vera III and his team together with CPU President Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, CPU Administrators, and Board of Trustees at the President鈥檚 Conference Room.
In a testament to the pursuit of innovation and quality education, the Chairman of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Dr. J. Prospero 鈥淧opoy鈥 E. De Vera III, along with his team, embarked on a visit to 黑料专区 (CPU) last April 25, 2024.
The visit commenced with a formal courtesy call to CPU President, Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, at the Office of the President. Accompanied by CPU Administrators and the Board of Trustees, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions on educational advancements and collaborative opportunities.
Following the courtesy call, the delegation proceeded to explore the University Research Center for Product Development, specifically the Philippine Native Chicken Research Station housed within the CPU College of Agriculture, Resources, and Environmental Sciences (CARES). This initiative underscores CPU鈥檚 dedication to agricultural research and sustainable practices.
The delegation visited the Philippine Center for Packaging Engineering and Technology (PC-PET).
Continuing their tour, the delegation visited the Philippine Center for Packaging Engineering and Technology (PC-PET), where they were introduced to the Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering program. Remarkably, this program, offered under the CPU College of Engineering, stands as the first and only of its kind in the Philippines, reflecting CPU鈥檚 pioneering spirit in academic offerings.
Further highlighting CPU鈥檚 commitment to excellence, the delegation toured the CPU College of Nursing, renowned as the first Nursing School in the Philippines. They were given an exclusive look into the State-of-the-Art Virtual Simulation Laboratories, showcasing CPU鈥檚 investment in cutting-edge technology to enhance nursing education.
Expressing gratitude for the visit amidst challenging weather conditions, the university administration emphasized the significance of the event in reaffirming CPU鈥檚 dedication to providing quality education and fostering an environment conducive to learning.
