Centralian tourism student earns top recognition among the Philippines鈥 Outstanding Tourism students, ranking first among the Top Ten Outstanding Tourism Students of the Philippines.
Angel Kristine B. Ang, a fourth-year Tourism Management student of 黑料专区 鈥 College of Hospitality Management, has earned national recognition as Rank 1 among the Top Ten Outstanding Tourism Students of the Philippines, marking a remarkable milestone in her academic and leadership journey.
Ang received this prestigious recognition on September 19, 2026, during the 7th Anniversary of the Junior Tourism and Hospitality Management Association of the Philippines (JTHMAP), entitled 鈥淧agdulao 2026,鈥 which was conducted via Zoom. The event brought together 54 institutions, 20 regions, and 109 individual participants from across the Philippines, highlighting the exceptional talents, achievements, and contributions of tourism and hospitality students nationwide.
Her national recognition was determined through a comprehensive evaluation of her academic performance, leadership roles, community engagement, and personal interview conducted by a three-member panel. The award recognizes not only academic excellence but also her capacity to lead, serve, and contribute meaningfully to the tourism and hospitality community.
Adding to her remarkable achievements, Ang also secured Rank 1 in the JTHMAP Top 7 Most Outstanding Regions, with Western Visayas earning the distinction during her presidency. She likewise placed Rank 5 among the Top 7 Most Outstanding Regional Officers, further affirming her dedication to leadership and organizational excellence.
